Manhattan Beach City Hall will host the Opening Reception: Why I Heart MB Art Exhibition tonight, Thursday, January 29 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The event features the work of local artists demonstrating their passion for the place they call home. Over 40 artists submitted their work but City Hall only has enough room to showcase 13 pieces. The winners will be announced during the event. The artwork will be on display through February 20. Art Flying Aerial and the Palos Verdes Chamber of Commerce invites everyone to celebrate the Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting for their second studio location on Thursday, January 29 beginning at 5 p.m. Guests will be able to tour the facility, enjoy refreshments, learn more about classes and meet the instructors. The evening includes special performances of various aerial disciplines including trapeze, Corde Lisse, hammock, aerial dance fitness, silks and Lyra. The Foundation of Local Arts (FOLA) presents the FOLA Annual Fundraiser on Saturday, January 31.
