Robbery Suspects Arrested After Uber Driver Follows Them
An Uber driver robbed in Hermosa followed the suspects and flagged down a deputy, who found the stolen loot and arrested them, police say.

An Uber driver was robbed in Hermosa Beach early this morning and authorities arrested three suspects, including one who pointed what looked like a gun at the victim before taking the driver’s money and cell phone, police said.
The driver, a resident of Redondo Beach, was outside his vehicle using his cell phone about 1:20 a.m. in a Vons parking lot at 710 Pier Ave. when a suspect approached, pointed a gun at him and demanded his property, Hermosa Beach police Sgt. Robert Higgins said.
The victim complied and the suspect then fled in a vehicle with two other suspects inside, Higgins said.
