South Bay by Jackie Weekend Guide January 3, 2018
The South Bay by Jackie Weekend Guide offers comprehensive coverage of the greater South Bay area

It’s a whole new year my peeps, and along with the new year come a few changes. Google has announced it’s going to shut down the consumer version of Google+ over the next several months. We’ve never had many followers on Google+, so instead of dragging things out, we took down the South Bay by Jackie page yesterday. If by chance you had been following SBBJ on that platform, you can continue to do so on Facebook,Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, the four local Patch.com pages (Hermosa, Manhattan, Redondo and Palos Verdes) and several NextDoorneighborhood pages. With regard to the website, we’ve updated the home page video (thanks Klein Creative Media!). We’re continuing to add restaurants to the Dine Time page (I have a couple of new favorites!) and the craft beer scene is still booming with several new breweries set to open this year. You can view our comprehensive list on the Recurring Events page at https://www.southbaybyjackie.com/south-bay-craft-beer-breweries/. Lastly, please be sure to patronize our wonderful advertisers this year! These businesses and non-profit organizations serve the South Bay community in so many ways and you know I’m all about keeping it local!
The Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy offers a calendar full of special activities and monthly events.
