The Weekend Guide is updated every Thursday morning, so check in each week or, you can sign up for our email list

I was out of town last week attending my nephew’s graduation ceremony, but I had heard the Southland was experiencing some funky weather (along with the rest of the nation) and when I landed at LAX Sunday evening, it was pouring. By the time I gathered my luggage and got on the road the rain had stopped, but there were ominous clouds in every direction. Weird. Anyway, while it will be on the cool side this weekend (low 60s), there’s no rain in the forecast and lots of fun events scheduled. Grab a jacket on your way out!
