South Bay by Jackie Weekend Guide November 15, 2018

Everything you want to know about events happening in the South Bay this weekend.

After the Albertsons/Haggen fiasco, there were several South Bay neighborhoods left without a grocery store. Having a conveniently located store to do your weekly shopping is not something you think about until suddenly, you don’t have one. Recently, the situation has eased somewhat. Lazy Acres opened in Hermosa Beach last month and Gelson’s had their Grand Opening yesterday in Manhattan Beach. I also heard from a reliable source, that another grocery store will soon be opening on Rosecrans Avenue in the former Fresh & Easy location. It’s like, a grocery store renaissance!
