Suspect Taken into Custody Following SWAT Operation in South Bay
The suspect had an outstanding warrant but there was no immediate word on the reasons for the warrant and no details on the suspect.
HAWTHORNE, CA -- A sheriff's SWAT unit took a person into custody Thursday morning in Hawthorne on an outstanding warrant, the department reported.
The Special Enforcement Bureau operation took place about 4 a.m. in the 11900 block of Daleside Avenue, according to the department. The suspect was taken into custody without incident.
There was no immediate word on the reasons for the warrant, and no details on the suspect were immediately released.
