'That's So Raven' Star, Orlando Brown, Pleads Guilty to Drug Charges

TORRANCE. CA - An actor who appeared on the Disney Channel show "That's So Raven" pleaded no contest Friday to misdemeanor battery and resisting arrest, and pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of possession of methamphetamine, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office said.
Orlando Brown, 28, was given credit for 62 days already served in jail and ordered to serve three years on probation in connection with his plea to the battery and resisting arrest charges, according to Ricardo Santiago of the District Attorney's Office.
The drug case will be dismissed if he successfully completes an 18-month program, according to Santiago.

Brown was arrested Jan. 17 after an alleged run-in with his girlfriend outside the Torrance police station, the Daily Breeze reported in February.
Officers found methamphetamine on him at the time of his arrest, Torrance police Sgt. Paul Kranke told the newspaper.

Brown was freed from jail on bond on Feb. 12.
