The World Games Special Olympics are coming to LA in July of this summer. LA2015 is the largest event to come to LA since the 1984 Olympics.
Several South Bay cities are Host Towns. This means they have the special privilege of receiving and hosting 100 delegates each, consisting of athletes and coaches, for three days before the opening ceremonies.
On Monday, March 16, representatives from the four local, Beach City Host Towns joined Patrick McClenahan, President and CEO of LA2015, at the Manhattan Beach Pier to announce to the world what delegations each city will be receiving.
