• Highland residents near Yaamava' Resort & Casino will have to take a weekend detour (sbsun.com) — If you live near Yaamava’ Resort & Casino by Highland, expect new weekend detours as San Bernardino installs traffic gates on Victoria Avenue at Mirada Road and Citrus Street to curb casino cut-through traffic. Gates will close during peak Friday–Sunday hours and some events, but police and fire can open them for emergencies, and officials say many neighbors support the change despite longer drives.
