Come make a traditional indigenous gourd rattle for day of the dead with Martin Espino.  In honor of Dia de los Muertos, La Vida Loca galeria is teaming up with well-known, professor of instruments from ancient Mexico, Martin Espino, to have a workshop, making traditional indigenous gourd rattles and decorate them with a skull or calavera face.

During this 4 hour class you will be cleaning, preparing and decorating the gourd. You will get lots of tips, assistance and knowledge about not just the making of this ancient instrument, but in its significance and traditional use as well.  While your rattles dry, a nice jam session with Martin as he shows you the wonderful music, his indigenous instruments can make, along with a quick lesson on how to play and care for your new traditional indigenous gourd rattles.
