Somewhere between the pervasive porn look and the virgin queen lies the spirit of the "good girl." The girl who loves sex but acts like she doesn't. Along the way, she is told by her parents, the church, society, that sex is bad and that "perversion" is downright evil.

These paintings delve into the psyche and question why as
human animals we still struggle with the idea of bad vs good when it comes to sex, a question that has presented itself so eloquently in literature. Some of these acts are repulsive, some are beautiful, but the story, age old as it may be, must still be told.

Never seeking to make a statement, just a way or to express what is felt inside.

Cynthia has been painting since the age of 10. For her, painting was clearly the path to take. It was acquiring a job in the adult entertainment industry that impacted her art the most. There she began to work with nude models developing different techniques. Now that she has returned to painting, the influences of life have crept into her art.

This presentation is suggested for adults only, containing images that may be graphic for some  viewers. Viewer disgression is advised.
