Highland Park's New Record Store To Open in July
The new shop will focus on more than just records.
Mount Analog, located at 5906.5 N. Figueroa St., sent out its first signal early in May, .
Now, those eager for a new place to shop for vinyl on North Figueroa Street can circle July 14 on their calendar.
According to a press release distributed by Mount Analog, the shop will serve as a "multifaceted goods merchant and live event hub specializing in new and used vinyl records, boutique clothing brands, handpicked books, literature, and films, and an assortment of other curated creations."

Mount Analog will also serve as the West Coast headquarters for the British based Finders-Keepers Records, a label that specializes in hard-to-find funk/psychedelic records.
"Mount Analog is a place for the creative idealist, progressive artist, music and arts enthusiast, rarities collector, and moreover: the everyday curious and adventure seeker," says co-owner Mahssa Taghinia who also runs B-Music, which is the United States counterpart to Finders Keepers Records. "It is for anyone and everyone desiring cutting edge brands, art, music, literature, and film within a comfortable, community-oriented and aesthetically-unique retail space."

According to the press release, "vinyl records will be an integral focus for Mount Analog. It will carry a wide array of handpicked new and used music ranging from the esoteric to the eclectic."
