Lyft Driver Shot In Glassell Park Road Rage, Shooter On The Loose

A Lyft driver is in critical condition after he was shot in the head in an apparent road rage incident.

GLASSELL PARK - A Lyft Driver in his 30s was hospitalized in critical condition after being shot in the head Sunday in Glassell Park during an apparent road rage incident that left his two passengers unhurt, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The shooting took place about 4:40 a.m. near the intersection of Eagle Rock Boulevard and Avenue 40, LAPD Officer Norma Eisenman said.

The driver then hit a fire hydrant after he was shot, Eisenman said. The two people in his car were not injured.

There was no description of the shooter or his vehicle, Eisenman said.
