1 Woman Dead, Another Injured In Hollywood Stabbing: Police

LOS ANGELES — One woman was killed and another was injured in an overnight stabbing in Hollywood, according to police.

Three women were arguing inside a vehicle around 1:45 a.m. Monday in the 7200 block of West Sunset Boulevard, when a 23-year-old stabbed a 46-year-old and a 24-year-old with an edged weapon, police said.

Paramedics took both victims to a hospital, where the older woman died, according to police, who said the younger woman was in stable condition.

The attacker was taken into custody at the scene, police said.
