2 Hospitalized, 6 Injured In 101 Freeway Crash
A total of eight people were injured in the Friday morning crash.
EAST HOLLYWOOD, CA — Two people were hospitalized and six others were evaluated for injuries at the scene of a two-vehicle collision Friday on the southbound Hollywood (101) Freeway in East Hollywood that left one of the vehicles on its side.
The crash occurred around 1:45 a.m. Friday on the southbound freeway near Vermont Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The circumstances of the crash were unclear, but video from the scene showed one vehicle on its side in bushes alongside the freeway.

Fire officials evaluated a total of eight patients — some of them appearing to be minors — but only two were taken to hospitals, according to the LAFD. Their conditions were not immediately known. The other six people declined to be taken to hospitals.
