2 Shot In East Hollywood, Killer At Large

A man died at the scene of a shooting Monday outside a laundromat and a woman remains in critical condition.

EAST HOLLYWOOD, CA — A man was killed and a woman was critically injured in a shooting outside a laundromat on the border of East Hollywood and Koreatown Monday evening. The shooter remains at large.

The shooting occurred about 8 p.m. near Beverly Boulevard and Hobart Place, killing a 30-year-old man was killed and injuring a 28-year-old woman. He died at the scene, and she was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition, Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department said.

The suspect, only described as a man with dark clothing, fled the scene in an unknown direction, according to Los Angeles Police Department Officer Tony Im.
