101 Freeway Lanes, Ramps To Close Overnight In Hollywood

Drivers can expect lane and ramp closures as crews perform bridge rehabilitation work.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — Drivers traveling through Hollywood can expect overnight lane and ramp closures on the southbound 101 Freeway for three nights next week as crews perform bridge rehabilitation work, Caltrans announced.

The closures are scheduled from Thursday, Aug. 20, through Saturday, Aug. 22, and will affect freeway lanes and several on- and off-ramps around Vine Street, Gower Street, Hollywood Boulevard and Cahuenga Boulevard.

The schedule is subject to change, according to Caltrans.

The work is part of a $20.8 million bridge rehabilitation project to rehabilitate the Argyle-Franklin Undercrossing and Gower Street off-ramp bridges.
