Angelina Jolie Files for Divorce from Brad Pitt
Breaking: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, the world's most famous celebrity couple, is breaking up.
HOLLYWOOD, CA — Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Hollywood’s most famous power couple, known by the portmanteau "Brangelina," are breaking up.
The actress filed for divorce in Los Angeles Monday, citing irreconcilable differences. The problem centers on parenting methods, according to TMZ, which first reported the story.
Jolie is reportedly asking for full custody of their six children - Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox . She is asking the judge to allow Pitt visitation rights but not physical custody.

“Angelina's decision to file has to do with the way Brad was parenting the children ... she was extremely upset with his methods,” TMZ reported.
The celebrity gossip site reports that there was no “third” person involved in the split, and Jolie is not asking for spousal support. However, Page Six, citing a "well-placed source," reports that Jolie decided to dump Pitt when she learned that he was cheating on her.

She lists the date of separation as Sept. 15.
"I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the well-being our our kids," Pitt told People magazine. "I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time."
Jolie and Pitt became the tabloid couple of the century when they hooked up in 2004 on the set of “Mr. & Mrs. Smith.” Pitt was married to tabloid darling Jennifer Aniston at the time.
Aside from their celebrity status and well-established acting careers (both Jolie and Pitt have won Oscars), the couple is well known for their humanitarian efforts. They have focused their efforts on bringing attention to causes across the world, both in America and third-world areas. Jolie is also a UNHCR goodwill ambassador.
