Anti-Trump Protesters Shut Down 101 Freeway
Anti-Trump protesters briefly blocked traffic on the Hollywood (101) Freeway in Downtown Los Angeles Tuesday.
LOS ANGELES, CA — A few protesters briefly blocked traffic on the northbound Hollywood (101) Freeway in Downtown Los Angeles before being hustled off of the roadway by authorities.
The protesters unveiled an anti-Trump banner shortly after 8 a.m. near the Los Angeles Street onramp to the freeway, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Five protesters were taken into custody, and the lanes were quickly cleared, according to the CHP.
