Armed Robbery Suspect Nabbed In North Hollywood
Police arrested a man suspected of holding up a string of convenience stores and a Subway restaurant in North Hollywood and Burbank.

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — A Georgia man was in custody Friday on suspicion of committing several armed robberies in Burbank and North Hollywood, police said.
Michael Clouse, 37, was arrested on Thursday night in North Hollywood, said Burbank police Sgt. Derek Green.
Clouse was booked on suspicion of robbery and was held in lieu of $200,000 bail, Green said. He was expected to appear in court on Monday.

Early on the morning of Nov. 27, an armed man robbed a Subway restaurant in Burbank. A short time later, the same man robbed a nearby 7- Eleven store at gunpoint, Green said.
Investigators believe the same suspect robbed at least two other 7- Eleven stores in the North Hollywood area, Green said.

Clouse was arrested outside a hotel in the in the 11200 block of Vanowen Street, Green said.
"Detectives then served a search warrant in a hotel room linked to Clouse, which led to the discovery of the clothing he wore in the Burbank robberies," Green said.
