'Bad Santa' Actor Tony Cox Hits Kid On Bike: Police
A 13-year-old boy on a bike suffered minor injuries Thursday when he was hit by Tony Cox, the infamously bad elf from "Bad Santa."

LOS ANGELES, CA — Actor Tony Cox, perhaps best known as the homicidal elf in “Bad Santa,” struck a teen riding his bike in Los Angeles Thursday morning. The boy survived with only minor injuries.
It happened just before noon at the corner of Beverly Boulevard and North Detroit Street, according to Los Angeles Police Department spokesman Officer Jeff Lee. Cox was heading southbound on Detroit Street when he stopped to make a right turn onto Beverly Boulevard.
That’s when he struck a 13-year-old boy riding his bike across the crosswalk, according to the LAPD. Though the bike was pinned under Cox’s car, the 13-year-old boy suffered only minor injuries. He was transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries, said Lee.
