Brush Fire Threatens Homes In The Cahuenga Pass
Two homes were threatened Thursday morning when a vegetation fire east of the Hollywood (101) Freeway scorched a half-acre.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A brush fire scorched about a half-acre of land in the Cahuenga Pass, threatening two homes Thursday morning.
Firefighters were called to the scene east of the Hollywood (101) Freeway shortly before 10 a.m. Thursday. The blaze threatened homes in the 2900 block of Lakeridge Drive, but crews quickly got the upper hand on the fire, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. The fire is under active investigation
No injuries were reported, and crews continued to monitor hot spots. None of the homes close to the fire were damaged, according to fire officials.
