Join us on Sunday, May 17, 2026 from 12:00–1:00 PM at Founders MCC for a powerful and historic moment as we unveil Steps to Liberation — a permanent Rainbow Steps installation created by Lynn Segerblom, co-creator of the original rainbow flag.
Held in recognition of International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia, this event celebrates LGBTQ+ visibility, dignity, and equality, and marks the launch of Flag50, a global initiative leading up to the 50th anniversary of the rainbow flag.
The program will feature remarks from Troy Perry, alongside community leaders, artists, and a special exhibition honoring the legacy of the original rainbow flag.
Come be part of this meaningful celebration of art, history, and community — where visibility is courage and the journey toward freedom continues, step by step. 💜
