Held in recognition of International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia, this event celebrates LGBTQ+ visibility, dignity, and equality, and marks the launch of Flag50, a global initiative leading up to the 50th anniversary of the rainbow flag.
The program will feature remarks from Troy Perry, alongside community leaders, artists, and a special exhibition honoring the legacy of the original rainbow flag.

In times of trouble and turmoil&hellip;the late Presbyterian Minister and Children&rsquo;s television pioneer, Mr. Fred Rogers, always said to &ldquo;look for the helpers&rdquo;. 
As it turns out&hellip;Mr. Rogers was right. 
When bad things happen&hellip;good people come to the rescue. 
Anyone can be a helper&hellip;especially a musician!
The global pandemic in 2020 was the epitome of &ldquo;bad times&rdquo;...but out of those uncertain times the helpers emerged&hellip;from doctors to pharmacists&hellip;to essential workers at grocery stores&hellip;helpers who became &ldquo;heroes without capes&rdquo;&hellip;rose to the occasion from all walks of life. 
One such &ldquo;hero without a cape&rdquo; is musician Robby Robinson. 
Prior to the &ldquo;pandemic lockdowns&rdquo;, Robby Robinson led a weekly &ldquo;jam session&rdquo; at <a href="https://www.trinitylutheranchurchsimi.com/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Trinity Lutheran Church</a> in Simi Valley, California

The virtual faith and social interaction Robby Robinson and the Jammers shared was precisely what human hearts and souls needed to carry on during uncertain times.&ldquo;Jam&rsquo; n Java&rdquo; uplifted minds, hearts and souls and had a positive impact on mental, emotional, and spiritual health&hellip;which ultimately affects physical well-being.
