Crash Near Hollywood Bowl Parking Lot Leaves One Person Dead

One person died and another was seriously injured in a two-car crash near the Hollywood Bowl parking lot on Highland Avenue Thursday.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — One person died early Thursday morning in a crash near the Hollywood Bowl parking lot, according to authorities.

The two-car collision at Milner Road and Highland Avenue left a 35-year-old woman in critical condition. She, along with another woman and a man, were transported to a local hospital for treatment, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Los Angeles Police Department officers were called at 2:21 a.m. to 6800 Milner Road and Highland Avenue where they found the vehicles, each with two occupants, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Firefighters had to free two of the victims from their vehicle.

Paramedics pronounced one of the victims dead at the scene. Details about that person's identity has not been released.
