Crews Work To Save Injured Hollywood Hills Hiker
Los Angeles Firefighters and paramedics worked to hoist an injured hiker to safety in the Hollywood Hills Thursday morning.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — Rescue crews were working to hoist an injured hiker to safety in the Hollywood Hills Thursday morning.
The injured hiker suffered a lower extremity injury and was stuck in an isolated area, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart. The patient will be transported to the local hospital via air ambulance in fair condition, she added.
The call for help came in shortly after 10 a.m. in the area of Hills and Northwest, Stewart said.
