Anyone who has a dog knows, it’s all about our dogs! The next Melrose FAMEFest pays tribute to our best friends with the theme “Dog Days of Summer.” Taking place Thursday, June 5 from 6p-10p on Melrose Avenue from Ogden to Spaulding, the event will bring artists together for a night of live painting and great music, exciting interactive exhibits and delicious food…celebrating everything doggie from dog products, art and merchandise to dog rescues and even doggie dating! If you’re single and ready to mingle, let your dog do the work for you with our “Partners in Crime” dating event. Your dog will help you find the Bonnie to your Clyde, the Anthony to your Cleopatra…or even the Beavis to your Butthead.
The Melrose Business Improvement District brings you FAME Fest: Fashion. Art. Music. Eats each first Thursday of the month, featuring the best in new fashion, dozens of new and established artists, live music and the city’s most popular food trucks. This month:
- A doggie section with great dog products
- “Partners in Crime” doggie dating event and raffle. Brought to you by DogVacay.com
- Find a new canine companion with four rescue organizations: The Rescue Train, Tails of the City, Take Me Home and A Dog’s Life

- Live filming of Hersh Rephun & The Real Tiny Show with special guests graffiti mural artist MEAR ONE and comedian Jordan Brady.
