Emmy Nominations 2017: Actors, Shows Announced [LIST]

Emmy Nominations for 2017 were announced Thursday, and "Westworld" led the pack with 22 nominations.

LOS ANGELES, CA — With the golden era of prestige television upon us, all eyes are turned to the 69th Emmy Award Nominations where several new shows and networks made a strong showing.

However, some old favorites such as "Saturday Night Live" came back with a vengeance to dominate their categories. NBC's variety series was re-invigorated with its lampooning of President Trump. HBO's "Westworld" scored a leading 22 nominations Thursday for the 69th annual Primetime Emmy Awards.

Actors Anna Chlumsky and Shemar Moore presented the Emmy nominations Thursday from the Wolf Theatre at the Television Academy's Saban Media Center in Los Angeles. Notable nominations include NBC's "This is Us," which broke an extended drought among broadcast networks by earning a nomination in the outstanding drama series category for the first time since CBS' "The Good Wife" in 2011.
