Join the Autry for a day filled with family fun, exploring American Indian Culture. Stick Ball is traditionally played with girls challenging boys. Brought from Southeastern tribes, this game is similar to hockey, where points are scored when a ball either hits a goal post, or a fish figurine placed at the top of the goal post. While girls are allowed to use their hands, boys play with a stick in each hand, fitted with a basket at the end. Go here for more information on the event.
