On Sunday, June 26 – DOLE and Celebrity Chef, Ben Ford will announce the winner of the 2011 DOLE California Cook-Off! From 11am to 3pm, three contestants will battle it out at the Grove in Los Angeles for a chance at the title and a grand prize of $2,500.
This year, participants were invited to enter the Facebook Contest and submit a recipe prepared entirely on a gas grill using at least one DOLE product. We sorted through over 2,000 recipes and this is your chance to watch the three finalists turn up the heat and battle it out at the Grove in front of a live audience and a panel of guest judges. There will also be an opportunity to win a grill from BBQ Galore in addition to other prizes and giveaways every half hour, and even a surprise appearance from Dole’s Bobby Banana!
