A fire broke out at a laundromat in Hollywood early Wednesday morning.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — It took 74 firefighters just under a half hour to extinguish a fire that broke out in a laundromat early Wednesday morning, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Firefighters responded to the building at St. Andrews Place and Santa Monica Boulevard, just west of Western Avenue, at around 1:30 a.m.
Crews held the fire within the laundromat, preventing spread to an attic shared by the other buildings in the strip mall and adjacent units, firefighters said.
