Fire Breaks Out At Vacant Hollywood Home, Again

The cause of the latest blaze at a boarded-up Hollywood home Friday remains under investigation.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — Los Angeles firefighters doused a blaze Friday morning at a Hollywood home that keeps catching fire.

The fire was reported at 9:49 a.m. in the 1300 block of North Sycamore Avenue, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey. The boarded-up, single-story building, has caught fire before he said.

"Thirty firefighters took just 19 minutes to access, confine and fully extinguish stubborn flames within the interior and attic of a vacant and boarded one-story home, the site of previous fires," Humphrey said.
