Pedestrian Killed In Hollywood Crosswalk Crash Remains Unidentified

Police are asking for the public's help identifying the pedestrian, who died after being struck on Santa Monica Boulevard.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a woman who was fatally struck by an SUV in a Hollywood crosswalk three months ago.

The crash occurred around 5:15 a.m. April 10 at Santa Monica Boulevard and Western Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Police said a gray Nissan Rogue was traveling east on Santa Monica Boulevard when it struck the woman, who was in a marked crosswalk in the roadway’s No. 1 lane.

The driver stopped and rendered aid, police said.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics took the woman to a hospital, where she died from her injuries.

Authorities have not been able to positively identify her. The investigation remains ongoing.

Anyone with information about the woman’s identity was asked to contact LAPD’s West Traffic Division.
