World Sword Swallower’s Day is Saturday February 28th, and as they do every year Ripley’s Believe It or Not in Hollywood will be the host of a Sword Swallowing –Freak/Side Show exhibition on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.This very visual event is free and open to the public. Among the Sword swallowers will be International Reality TV Competition Star, Alex Magala who will be attempting a back flip after swallowing a sword with it still in place ! Alex has been featured on America’s Got Talent, France’s Got Talent, Russia’s Got Talent, Ukraine’s Got Talent, Italy’s Got Talent and Numerous other TV showshttp://alexmagala.com/en/
This will be very visual, great for photo’s & video. It all takes place in HOLLYWOOD on the South East corner of Hollywood & Highland in front of Ripley’s Believe It or Not. Besides Sword Swallower’s, there will be all kinds of Freak show/Side show types of performances including Fire Breathers/Eaters, Strongman Stunts, The Human Block Head, ETC. The Show starts at1:30PM, Swords Swallowing Extravaganza 2:28PM.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (Feb. 28, 2015) - Multiple sword swallowers, including the world’s tallest and the Russian Champion (ALEX MAGALA, pictured here), will be “dropping swords” at Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Odditoriums worldwide on Sat., February 28, 2:28PM, local time, in celebration of the 8th annual World Sword Swallower’s Day.
World Sword Swallower’s Day was founded by the Sword Swallowers Association International (SSAI) and is co-sponsored by Ripley’s Believe It or Not!.
On February 28, sword swallowers from around the world will be putting on free shows at nearly 20 Believe It or Not! Odditoriums worldwide.
Ripley’s Believe It or Not! has a long history of highlighting the death-defying achievements of sword swallowers - going back over 80 years.
People can also try swallowing a sword on their own - virtually - thanks to the new Ripley’s Believe It or Not! app which features iSword.
