Hollywood Car Theft Leads To Standoff At Beverly Hills Lamborghini Dealership
A man stole a car from a Toyota dealership in Hollywood and led police on a chase to a Beverly Hills Lamborghini dealership, ABC 7 reported
HOLLYWOOD, CA — A man suspected of stealing a car from the lot at Toyota of Hollywood and leading police on a chase to Beverly Hills was arrested early Friday morning.
Los Angeles Police Department officers responded at 11:30 p.m. Thursday to a report of a break-in at the Toyota dealership on Hollywood Boulevard. Video showed the suspect vandalizing the dealership before stealing keys from the dealership's lockbox, ABC 7 reported.
Officers ordered the man to surrender, but he stole a white sedan, smashed through the dealership's fence and sped away, the station reported.

Police pursued the man through Hollywood to Beverly Hills, where he stopped at a Wilshire Boulevard Lamborghini dealership. He broke a window at the dealership, went inside and engaged police in an hour-long standoff, police said.
Around 3 a.m. Beverly Hills police moved in, subdued the suspect with a Taser and took him into custody, an LAPD spokesman told City News Service.
