Hollywood Family Sues Netflix Over 'Buying Beverly Hills' Home Photo
The Hollywood Hills family claims Netflix used a photo of their home — that could only be obtained by a drone — to promote the reality show.
HOLLYWOOD, CA — A Hollywood Hills family is suing Netflix, claiming that they've been harassed by sightseers and real estate agents after the streamer used an image of their home to promote the series "Buying Beverly Hills," KCAL reported.
Aharon Dihno, his two minor children, and Dihno's partner Fernando Cortez filed the lawsuit on March 21 against Netflix and The Agency, the real estate brokerage featured in the show, according to Los Angeles Superior Court documents.
The complaint includes allegations of false advertising, unfair competition, privacy violations and emotional distress.

In September, Netflix published an ad promoting "Buying Beverly Hills," which follows the operations of The Agency's Beverly Hills office. The suit claims the ad featured an image of the interior and exterior of Dihno's home, which could have only been obtained with a drone, KCAL reported.
