HOLLYWOOD, CA — A brazen burglar plaguing entertainment studios and offices in Hollywood managed to get himself caught on surveillance video, and now police hope someone in the community can help identify him.
Police suspect the man, who blends in wearing office casual attire, burglarized at least two entertainment offices in Hollywood on May 24 and June 28, according to LAPD Detective Timmons. The man enters the studio offices through a parking garage and even wears a fake identification badge to help blend in. Once inside, he looked for unlocked doors, then stole laptop computers.
The suspect was described as black, 25 to 35 years old, with short hair. He's between 5 feet 9 and 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs between 180 and 200 pounds, police reported.

Anyone with information on the man's identity was asked to call detectives at (213) 972-2928 or (213) 972-2931. Tipsters can also call the LAPD's 24-hour tipline at (877) 527-3247.
