Living Life to the Fullest in Hollywood
How Insight Seminars Is Helping Hollywood Residents

Living life to the fullest is a popular catchphrase these days. Consider all the people who often use it to spice up their motivational speeches. Think of all of the books that talk about finding your passion. But what does living life to the fullest really mean and how do you get there? Insight Seminars has four practical ways to start creating a blueprint for living and loving your life fully.
Know Your Ultimate Goal
What does living your life to the fullest mean to you? More money? A loving relationship? A successful career? Creating a family? How will you recognize when you are living your life to the fullest? Having a tangible goal, versus holding a lofty ideal that sounds good, will help you manifest it. Then, consider what small micro steps you could take in your life to help you get there. For example, if your goal is to be financially free, what does that look like? What would you be doing and experiencing differently? What things are you doing now to support that? What are you doing to hinder that? Then adjust accordingly!

Involve Your Heart
To live your life to the fullest, follow the wisdom of your heart. It knows your deepest desires, your unspoken truths, and what truly makes you happy. Listening to your heart includes checking within when making decisions. A simple practice could simply be pausing, before quickly reacting or deciding, to ask yourself, “Is this aligned for me?” That can be a valuable question to pump the breaks on choosing actions that may be a distraction from your ultimate goal and get you off course.

Embrace Your True Self
A lot of people live their life based on how they think other people want them to be. They create a façade and show the world only positive aspects about themselves that they think make them more lovable, acceptable, and employable. They suppress their true nature–their heart-centered, loving, and authentic self. For a real-world example, consider the popular Hollywood community and the long list of celebrities who reside there. Often times, these individuals make a mistake of only presenting a certain side of themselves to the world. At first, living like that makes sense as the media coverage should revolve around positive aspects of their character. Hollywood often rewards this suppression of the true self by dictating success based on what someone does, versus who someone is. Very often, however, the hidden flaws tend to come out. Just think of all the scandals and controversies that have involved celebrities in the past.
The truth is, living behind a façade is not sustainable. It may start with tiny cracks in someone’s behavior, to more dramatic expressions that seem erratic. And for some, it becomes a meltdown that gets covered by the media, attacking someone’s character.
So how do we embrace our true self? Accept everything that’s positive about yourself along with any shortcomings. Keep working on what you’d like to change about yourself that you do judge.
Creating a Life You Love
Creating a life you love is not one dimensional. Have you ever met someone who had great success in some area of their life (house, job, relationship, money,) but still seem unhappy? It’s because life is not one dimensional. And you are not one dimensional. Your job is not who you are. You may have great success in your career, but what else can you also do to enrich your life? Is there a hobby that would spark your creative juices? How could you be more of service? Is there an organization you could volunteer for? How are your relationships? If you are missing heartfelt connections with others, how could you make more time or put yourself in more situations to create that?
Living your life to the fullest isn’t just a romantic notion. By knowing your goal, involving your heart, embracing your true self, and creating a life you love, you may just manifest that more easily and in greater ways than you ever dreamed.
