Local Gasoline Prices Rise For Ninth Consecutive Day

LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CA --- The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose today for the ninth consecutive day, increasing three-tenths of a cent to $2.97.
The average price is 7.3 cents more than one week ago and 13.8 cents higher than one month ago but 59.8 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price has risen 7.8 cents over the past nine days, including a half-cent on Sunday.

The Orange County average price also rose for the ninth consecutive day, increasing four-tenths of a cent to $2.96. It is 8.6 cents more than one week ago and 14.9 cents higher than one month ago but 54.3 cents less than one year ago.
The Orange County average price has increased 9.6 cents over the past nine days, including a half-cent on Sunday.
