Man, 23, Killed In Hollywood Shooting Identified
There have been no arrests in the case, and police have not publicly identified a motive nor suspect description.
HOLLYWOOD, CA — Authorities identified a 23-year-old man shot and killed near a homeless encampment Monday in Hollywood.
Deshawn Townsel, who was homeless, died on the sidewalk after being shot shortly before 2:30 a.m. near Vine Street and La Mirada Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles County coroner's office.
There have been no arrests in the case, and police have not publicly identified a motive nor suspect description.
