Man Shot Near Capitol Records Building; Shooter At Large

Los Angeles police responded to a report of a shooting near the historic Capitol Records Building Monday night.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A man was shot Monday evening near the historic Capitol Records Building in Hollywood, and Los Angeles police were searching for his assailant.

Los Angeles Police Department officers were called to the 6500 block of Yucca Street at 9:41 p.m. Monday night. They arrived to find a man who had been shot in the upper torso, said Los Angeles Police Officer Drake Madison. Wounded in the shoulder, the man was conscious and able to sit up when paramedics arrived, reported CBS2.

He was taken to a hospital in an unknown condition. There was no suspect description and no further information.
