One Person Shot in Hollywood

HOLLYWOOD, CA — One person was shot early Monday morning in Hollywood.

The victim was shot in the torso, and police did not immediately release information about their condition. The person was shot at about at 5:13 a.m. at Lillian Way and Eleanor Avenue, said Officer Rosario Cervantes of the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations Section.

Police did not identify the victim or release information about the person's age or gender. An ambulance was called to the scene, but it remains unclear if the victim was taken to the hospital. Police also released no information about the shooter.
