Oscars Blue Ribbons: Why People Pinned Them On
Actors and actresses are wearing blue ribbons on the red carpet at the Oscars.

You didn't think that the Oscars were going to happen without politics playing a role, did you? Just look at the red carpet and you could see among the red dresses, beautiful gowns, and tuxedos, many people seemed to be wearing the same accessory: a blue ribbon?
Blue ribbon?
It's not that they all came in first at the country fair. Those wearing the blue ribbon are doing so to show support for the American Civil Liberties Union.

It's part of their "Stand With ACLU " Initiative.
