Outage in West LA Knocks Out Power for Thousands
A Pre-Thanksgiving power outage affected thousands in West Los Angeles, Brentwood area Wednesday.

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - A pre-Thanksgiving power outage knocked out electricity Wednesday to about 2,000 Department of Water and Power customers in West Los Angeles.
The outage, which was reported about 4:30 p.m., was centered in the area of Santa Monica Boulevard and Stoner Avenue, according to the DWP's Ellen Cheng.
Service was restored about 8:40 p.m., according to the DWP.
