Pedestrian Killed By Metro Train In East Hollywood
A pedestrian was struck and killed by a Metro B Line train inside a tunnel Thursday morning.
EAST HOLLYWOOD, CA — A Metro B Line train struck and killed a pedestrian in a tunnel in the East Hollywood area Thursday morning.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics were called to the scene in the 300 block of North Vermont Avenue shortly after 8 a.m.
"LAFD responded down into the tunnel where there incident occurred to, sadly, find the person deceased," said LAFD spokesman Nicholas Prange. "LAFD will remain on scene to assist with body recovery."

Authorities did not release any information about the victim.
Passengers can expect delays. The B Line was formerly known as the Red Line.
