Person Injured At Two-Story, Boarded Home in Hollywood; Condition Unknown

Firefighters dispatched at 4:30 a.m. to 6720 W. Sunset Blvd. reported "heavy fire" on both floors of the structure.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — A person was pulled Sunday morning in unknown condition from a fire at a large two-story, boarded up craftsman-style home in Hollywood, authorities said.

Firefighters dispatched at 4:30 a.m. to 6720 W. Sunset Blvd. reported "heavy fire" on both floors of the structure, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Seventy firefighters knocked down the blaze within an hour and 12 minutes of their arrival. There was some extension of the fire to two exposed bungalows. The degree of extension was not immediately known.

Paramedics rushed the rescued person, in unknown condition, to a hospital. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
