Person Rescued From East Hollywood Apartment Fire

One person was injured in a fire at an East Hollywood apartment building Thursday morning.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — One person was injured in a fire at an apartment building in East Hollywood Thursday morning.

The fire was reported at 10:38 a.m. in a two-story building at 919 N. Ardmore Ave. Firefighters arrived to find smoke showing from the second floor, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

"With reports of a person trapped, firefighters quickly made entry, extinguishing a small fire and performing a search - one patient is being assessed and treated on scene for minor injuries," the LAFD said.
