Santa Monica Blvd Shut Down After Pedestrian Is Hit
Police shut down the busy road in Hollywood where a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the early morning Monday.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — A pedestrian was by a vehicle on Santa Monica Boulevard Monday and rushed to a hospital. Investigators were on the scene in Hollywood Monday interviewing witnesses.
The accident was not considered a hit-and-run. The victim's condition was not immediately known. The incident happened at 2 a.m. on Santa Monica Boulevard and Westbourne Drive in West Hollywood.
Santa Monica Boulevard between Westmount and Huntley avenues was closed for the investigation.
