Services To Be Held For Jim Brown, Today Show's Hollywood Man
The community will honor the memory of Jim Brown, the former Today Show correspondent known as "Our Man In Hollywood."

HOLLYWOOD, CA — Service will be held Saturday for Jim Brown, a journalist known to many as the Today Show’s “Our Man In Hollywood.”
Born in 1932, the Hollywood native passed away in December with Libby, his wife of 51 years at his side, according to his obituary in the Los Angeles Times.
Brown worked in radio as well as television, signing on for KNXT, KNBC, and the Today Show.

“To his family, he imparted a love for thrift stores, superior navigation skills, the ability to appreciate Big Band music, a desire to drive the back roads, and a talent to quote classic films at the drop of a hat,” his loved ones wrote. “He also passed on a strong Christian faith and was truly an example of a man who lived out what he believed.”
Services will be held in honor if Brown at La Crescenta Presbyterian Church on Saturday, at 2 p.m.
