Taylor Swift Invited To Join The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences
Taylor Swift would get to vote in the Oscars if she accepts an invitation to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — Taylor Swift was one of 398 people invited to become a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
The Academy offers membership offers to professionals who work across the film industry. Swift's invitation, from the Music branch, notes her contributions to films including "Where the Crawdads Sing" and "Cats."
Other invitees Wednesday include Oscar winner Ke Huy Quan ("Everything Everywhere All at Once"), Oscar nominee Austin Butler ("Elvis"), Selma Blair, Nicholas Hoult, Keke Palmer, Paul Reiser, Bill Hader and David Byrne.

Fresh off their Best Picture win, "Everything Everywhere" helmers David Kwan and Daniel Scheinert also earned an invitation.
"The Academy is proud to welcome these artists and professionals into our membership," Academy CEO Bill Kramer and Academy President Janet Yang said in a joint statement. "They represent extraordinary global talent across cinematic disciplines and have made a vital impact on the arts and sciences of motion pictures and on movie fans worldwide."
